ORIGIN: Originates from the picturesque landscapes of Serbia, known for its exceptional suitability for brandy production.
HARVEST: The creation of this exquisite liquid starts in the orchard, where the quinces are carefully harvested at the peak of ripeness, ensuring optimal flavor and aroma.
FERMENTATION & DISTILLATION: After washing and cutting the fruits to remove seeds and hard cells, only the finest parts are used for production, ensuring the highest quality pomace. The next steps involve crushing and melting quinces, initiating fermentation, and distillation through a sixfold process to achieve a smooth, refined liquid with 70% alcohol.
MATURATION: To enhance depth and complexity, the quince distillate ages in 400-liter French oak barrels for three years, acquiring subtle nuances of oak flavor and aroma. After maturation, the brandy is diluted to 43% for the perfect harmony of flavors and drinkability.
TASTING NOTES: This pale golden amber spirit features a pronounced nose with fresh quince, orchard blossoms, honey, citrus peel, and spices. Maturation delivers a rich, soft palate with ripe fruit, floral undertones, and hints of honey and vanilla. The finish is long and luscious, leaving a gentle quince impression.
FOOD PAIRING: It pairs perfectlywith desserts, goose pate, dark chocolate, beef tartare.
